Demobilization targets 5,500 former armed group combatants including approximately 500 child soldiers depending on the rate of repatriation, and up to a maximum of 4,000 members of RDF. Principal activities include general sensitization and counselling regarding civilian life, HIV/AIDS voluntary counselling and testing (VCT), provision for special needs for women and toddlers that might accompany them, socio-economic profiling, and support with basic needs while encamped, including catering services and basic health care. Please find more detailed progress achievements in Quarterly Reports under "Reports and Studies" Menu.
